The Hamilton Regional Laboratory Medicine Program (HRLMP) and the Department of Pathology and Molecular Medicine at McMaster University, Hamilton invite applications for faculty positions in Anatomical Pathology, within the subspecialties of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary pathology, breast pathology, and skin pathology.


The ideal candidates are motivated clinician educators, with a strong sense of professionalism and excellent communication skills.  Candidates must hold certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (or equivalent) in Anatomical or General Pathology and must hold (or be eligible for) medical licensure in the Province of Ontario.


Additionally, qualified candidates will have subspecialty expertise through a recognized fellowship (or at least five years practice experience) in one or more of the following specialties: Gastrointestinal and Hepatobiliary Pathology, Breast Pathology, and Skin Pathology, including related molecular/biomarker testing and reporting.  Strong surgical pathology and frozen section skills are required.
