Two full-time positions for Anatomic Pathologists are available within the integrated practice of Dr. C.J. Coady Associates.

Royal Columbian Hospital
Royal Columbian Hospital is located in the city of New Westminster in British Columbia’s Lower Mainland region. This is a regional referral hospital providing specialized surgical and medical programs to 1.5 million people, including the regional neurosurgical and cardiovascular surgical services. It is also a community hospital serving the residents of New Westminster, receiving a broad range of routine outpatient surgical specimens (GI, skin, gyne, GU, breast, head & neck, lymphoma). The successful candidate will become a member of a team of 12 anatomic pathologists providing general surgical pathology and cytopathology services.

Surrey Memorial Hospital
Surrey Memorial Hospital is located in the city of Surrey in British Columbia’s Lower Mainland region. This is a regional referral hospital providing specialized surgical and medical programs to 1.5 million people, including the regional thoracic surgical service. It is also a community hospital serving the residents of Surrey and is associated with the Fraser Valley Cancer Center, receiving a broad range of routine outpatient surgical specimens (GI, skin, gyne, GU, breast, head & neck, lymphoma). The successful candidate will become a member of a team of 8 anatomic pathologists providing general surgical pathology and cytopathology services.

Both hospitals are affiliated with the University of British Columbia and participate in pathology resident education with opportunity for clinical appointment to the Faculty of Medicine. Subspecialty training or expertise in an area of anatomic pathology will be considered valuable.

Qualified candidates for both positions must be licensed or eligible for licensure with the B.C. College of Physicians and Surgeons, and must hold specialist qualifications in Anatomic Pathology or General Pathology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Dr. C.J. Coady Associates is a partnership of 40 laboratory physicians providing a range of consulting diagnostic laboratory services to 11 hospitals in the Fraser Health Authority.
