OMPRN Pathology Matters Meeting 2018
Mon, 15 Oct 2018

Registration and abstract submission for the OMPRN Pathology Matters Meeting 2018 is now open!

Join the Ontario Molecular Pathology Research Network for its annual Pathology Matters Meeting on October 15, 2018 at Vantage Venues, 150 King St W, Toronto M5H 1J9. This meeting is an opportunity for learning and networking intended to encourage and inform participation by pathologists and pathology trainees in high quality cancer research. This year, attendance by residents and other trainees in pathology is especially encouraged. The meeting will feature interactive workshops for pathologists on introductory bioinformatics and biostatistics as well as a Poster Prize competition and keynote talk from Dr. Anthony Magliocco, Chair of Pathology, Moffitt Cancer Center. Residents and other pathology trainees are encouraged to submit their abstracts for the poster presentation by September 17th at 5 pm using this link.

Registration is free for the first 100 attendees. For this reason pathologists, pathology trainees, MD or PhD clinical laboratory scientists with a Canadian College of Medical Geneticists (CCMG) fellowship or CCMG trainees will be prioritized. Travel and accommodation costs will be reimbursed for those travelling from outside the GTA (see link for details): https://events.oicr.on.ca/ontario-cancer-pathology-research

Please share this with your pathology colleagues and encourage your trainees to attend

See you in October!
